I bought my ticket to Amsterdam last night. I'm leaving Monday December 29th! And yes...that means I will not be home for New Years Eve funness. But! It does mean I'll be in Europe for New Years eve and who knows...that could be fun. Right? :) :)
I bought my ticket through lessno.com. I had never used it before and it doesn't tell you which airline you'll be on until after you buy it. So I was a little scared. All I knew was that it was a direct flight from SFO to Amsterdam on the 29th for (only!!) 430 dollars...but it turned out just fine. It's on KLM which for some reason stands for Royal Dutch Airlines. Apparently they have all these different kinds of "special meals"....Asian veg, Hindu veg, fruit/nut, vegan, gluten free, Muslim, kosher. And you know...I love my airplane food :)
Anyway, I'm still excited but kinda nervous about leaving everything.
